Failure To Success

Is it possible to turn failures into success? Check out our tips on how to change failures to succeed that I will be reviewing below.

In principle, no human being has never made a mistake, either a minor mistake or a big mistake. The question is not located on the number of times you make a mistake, but how many times have you repeated the same mistake?

If you want to learn how to turn your mistakes or failures into a profit or a success then you can try to do five (5) of the following ways:

1. Acknowledge your mistakes and weaknesses

Not everyone will open up and acknowledge his mistake in front of others. Why? Because she wants to look tough and confidently in front of others. For a leader in the company, he wants to look tough and unblemished in front of his employees or subordinates.

And do you realize if the behavior is the wrong way? Why? Because you lead your employees based solely on your ASSUMPTIONS. The intention is that you think that your employees or subordinates do not know your weaknesses. This is a false and misleading assumption. Trust me because basically your employees or subordinates actually know your weaknesses. If in the end, you acknowledge your mistakes, they will not be surprised. They might just be talking to each other one by saying, "Wow, finally our boss knows his mistake". And in that second there is no point anymore pretending.

You will never be able to improve your quality as a leader if you are too busy pretending. The earliest step to anticipate mistakes and how you learn from mistakes is to look at yourself realistically and acknowledge your mistakes.

2. Receive errors as progress prices

If you are a person who wants to progress on you then you should start learning how to deal with failures and how to accept them. No man is perfect, everyone must make mistakes. So get used to facing failure because it is part of a process to success. There is no point you blame yourself for the failures that occur but learn from the mistakes then continue your life.

3. Learn from your mistakes

William Saroyan, a writer once said, "good people get better because they become wiser after having a failure ".

As in the world of science, failure has always been the prelude of the discovery of truth.

When the failure occurs, there are two (2) kinds of responses that usually occur, namely:
  • Being hesitant and inferior.
  • Admit mistakes, learn from these mistakes so that it becomes better.
You can just run away from mistakes, but you'll definitely repeat those mistakes the other time, over and over again.
Conversely, if you get the error and learn from it then you will be more superior in the future and will not repeat the same mistake later.

4. Ask yourself and others,  "Have you missed?"

Taking a decision of what you know is easy. But you have to remember, there are always other things that you don't know. This is where you ask yourself, whether you're asking yourself or someone else. With that question, you will get a variety of answers, because everyone has a different idea or point of view. This will help you to complement what you have missed.

5. Give permission to people around you to ask

If a leader never gets input from a team member or his subordinates, then it can be bad and become a disaster in the past.

You should have a subordinate who wants to remind you, pat your shoulders and say, "Is this the best way?".

In many cases, it often happens that your subordinates have identified the potential danger of your decisions and policies, but because of their respect for you then they choose not to say it. If only you knew it then you would definitely choose better not to be respected at the time so they said the potential danger.

Saying a suggestion to you when all the bad things have happened is useless. All you need is a subordinate that will give you feedback and remind you at the beginning of the policy you are taking. So give the opportunity and permission to your subordinates to ask you.

Conclusion:

Speaking of success, the problem is not at how many mistakes you make, but the number of times you repeat the same mistake. People who want to go forward should learn to see failure as an inevitable price from a process to the summit. Good people will get better and become wiser after experiencing failure. When we start something with certainty it will end in doubt, but if we start something with doubt it will end with certainty.

Hopefully after reading this article can add to your passion and motivation to the peak of success.
